Supporting Missionary Work

At Bamber Bridge Pentecostal Church we take an active interest in many diverse missions both in this country and abroad. As a church we support them with prayer, annual financial help and with other specific needs as they arise.

The missions we currently support include;

- Light of the Gospel Ministries: A mission full of zeal spreading the news of the Gospel in Central Serbia, where people are hearing for the first time about the love of Jesus, and how he died on a cross to save them

- Maranantha Rice Appeal: supporting Bible Students in Sierra Leone by simply giving them a supply of rice, so they can have daily meals

- Christian Witness to Isreal: CWI is a UK-based interdenominational evangelistic society committed to sharing the Good News of Jesus the Messiah with the Jewish people. (http://www.cwi.org.uk/)

- Leprosy mission: An international Christian development organisation that diagnoses, treats and offers specialist care, including reconstructive surgery, to leprosy patients. Their aim is to transform and empower the lives of people affected by leprosy. (http://www.leprosymission.org.uk/)

- Barnabas Fund: An organisation who use donations to fund projects developed by Christians in their own communities, countries or regions with the majority of aid directed towards Christians living in Muslim environments. (https://www.barnabasfund.org/)

- The Hope Project Africa: The Hope Project is a non-profit corporation formed to help West African nations recover from the devastating effects of poverty and war. We raise money to build structures that can be used as schools, churches, clinics, and youth centers.  The organization also provides funds for the drilling of fresh water wells at our building sites.
